It is with great sadness that we share the news that Davie Maseko, of STEKA House, tragically passed away, aged 16, in May 2021 after a short illness.
A popular and responsible member of STEKA house since 2010, it was Davie’s dream to study bricklaying at the STEKA vocational centre in order to learn how to build homes for the homeless. Davie was always so appreciative of his adoptive parents, Godknows and Hellen Maseko.
The Masekos, founder of STEKA Skills, would like to install a solar borehole at the STEKA vocational centre in Davie’s name, which will enable the vocational centre to operate in a safe and hygienic manner. They welcome your support and donations to do so, here.
