Community Forum Organization is rolling out a counselling program targeting youth and children to help them not to lose focus on education as schools are still closed due to Corona Virus Pandemic.
Promoting education is one of the objectives of COFO as they work directly with young people by providing them with a safe space to discuss openly and educate each other’s, in order to challenge gender stereotype.
Executive Director of COFO Mr Joshua Malunga said they are drilling children on their human rights and responsibility in order to keep them busy for them not to indulge themselves in behaviors that will hinder their future.
Malunga said that they are working with the clubs that have been in existence for so long and this time around as they are out of school, they are encouraging them not to lose hope with education”
“We want all learners to go back to school after the Covid 19 break,” he said.
