Exciting update! Stakeholders of the REFRESH Project in Mangochi are gathering in Monkey Bay to review the project’s third quarter progress in its 4th year. The District Fisheries Officer and CISER Programs Manager presented on Participatory Fisheries Management (PFM) and project activities. Despite challenges, successes include self-financing, patrols, sanctuary management, and boat marking. Senior chiefs, government officials, and the Mangochi Fisheries Association are also attending. Let’s strengthen decentralized ecostem-based fisheries management together!
