We at Malawi Scotland partnership in conjunction with 2050 climate group held a very engaging End of Project Virtual Event on the 22nd of April 2021.The event, whose aim was to celebrate the achievements of the Climate Change Young Leaders Project, was themed Enhancing Youth Participation in climate action.
The event had over 50 participants from across Malawi and Scotland including Climate Change Young Leaders and representatives from our partners at 2050 Climate Group.
After the initial welcoming remarks from MaSP CEO Stella Masangano, The CCYL Project coordinator provided a summary of the projects achievements which has seen Young Leader from across the country empowered and trained in areas such as climate change advocacy and innovation.
This was followed by a premiering of 3 Short Documentaries showcasing the Impact the project has had on communities in our country’s 3 regions.
Also on the Agenda was the handing out of 5 awards to the most outstanding of young leaders.
