Ashling Bourke is an amazing writer and one of the Scotland-Malawi partnership youth members. She was born and raised in Malawi for 15 years of her childhood and currently lives in Scotland where she is studying to become a primary school teacher.

She just recently published a fictional young adult thriller titled Innocently Guilty which features Malawi and it’s about a sixteen year old British girl called Lottie Sheldon who becomes the prime suspect for a murder investigation. She then goes off to a summer camp in Malawi to recover from the trauma she experiences from the investigation but ends up finding the answers she needs to solve the mystery.
