Chitani Community Sustainable Development Organization has donated assorted items to Schools and Villages at Senior Chief Nkanda in Mulanje District.
According to the Programs Director of CHICOSUDO Leslie Kapile, said that the items donated includes, Desks, Chairs, Clothes, Shoes and writing materials that will assist learners in their lives and education.
Speaking after receiving the donation, Representative of Senior Chief Nkanda Arnold Kopoland, applauded the organization for the good gesture, as some school pupils could come to school without wearing Shoes and that the items will have a great impact to them.
CHICOSUDO is an organisation that aims at uplifting the lives of marginalized women and children.
The donation has been possible with the help from Crossroads Foundation from Hong Kong.
