The Malawi Scotland Partnership held Activities in commemoration of Malawi’s 57th Independence Day in the South and the North on Tuesday the 6th of July.
In Blantyre the event took at Ekarhi Early Child Development in Thyolo with over 50 participants sharing cake and snacks.
The Northern Region Event was a colourful ceremony that was held at Beehive School located at Katoto in Mzuzu. Among the Activities were the Choral Singing of the Scottish National Anthem, Ngoma Dance and a Play by Urunji Theatre group. The celebration was also spiced up by a Cake and Braai at the end of the Activities.
