Centre for Youth and Development (CYD) are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their latest 40-foot container containing 1533 computers and accessories. This is the second shipment sent from the UK in 2020 and is a tribute to the Turing Trust, their staff and volunteers in Edinburgh and all the IT donors.
Their team has already started to deploy the computers to schools and are happy with the response and excitement from the new partner schools benefiting from the shipment.
They are also excited that the new shipment will also help them to revolutionize the way our classrooms are providing access to e-learning content. Over the last few years, they have been experimenting with a few ways in which they can best provide access to a wide variety of information in their computer lab
